The location of the cottage was amazing, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We also appreciated the warm welcome we received, with a thoughtful welcome pack waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home.
We experienced some connectivity issues during our stay. There was no Wi-Fi or mobile reception on our final day, which was a bit frustrating, especially for our 9-year-old who relies on technology for entertainment.

The view! The lovely welcome pack.lots of yummy, locally sourced treats. The Whole property is really well appointed, with everything you could possibly need. Nothing too much trouble for our host, Simon. So many nice touches.the fire was stacked all ready, lots of extra blankets, towels, coffee machine with the coffee provided and a great selection of films and books Even bowls for our dog were provided. We didn't want for anything. Can't wait to go back.
There was no Wi-Fi or mobile reception on our final day/evening, possibly due to the weather. Didn’t bother us enough to speak to the hosts but our 9-year-old wasn’t very impressed.

The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the surrounding countryside. The warm welcome pack provided lots of delicious locally sourced treats, adding a nice touch to the stay. the property was well-appointed with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience.
We found the location to be a bit remote, making it difficult to access nearby attractions and amenities. the lack of nearby dining options meant that we had to travel quite a distance for a decent meal.

Our stay at Dee Valley Cottages was simply wonderful. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. We were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful welcome basket, and the cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and the open fire added a cozy touch. Our children loved playing in the garden and interacting with the chickens. Despite some temperamental WiFi and no phone signal, it allowed us to truly disconnect and enjoy the peaceful setting. We would highly recommend a visit to Dee Valley Cottages for a relaxing and memorable holiday. I highly recommend this delightful accommodation.

Loved the stunning views from Swallows cottage, named after the birds that used to nest there. The large garden with a seating area was perfect. Free WiFi and private parking were a bonus. A truly magical stay.
Oh, what a shame, I can't think of a single thing to complain about!
